Rebecca L. Gombos is an experienced senior attorney who specializes in the areas of employment litigation and advice and counsel. Ms. Gombos has successfully litigated numerous employment cases for employers, including cases involving harassment and hostile work environment (including claims based on race, gender, sex, pregnancy, mental and physical disability, age and religion), wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour violations (including class actions and PAGA), whistleblowing, and violation of the Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act and/or Pregnancy Disability Leave Act.

Before rejoining Landegger Baron Law Group in 2016, Ms. Gombos worked at the firms of Magnanimo & Dean, LLP, Appleton, Magnanimo & Dean, LLP and Appleton, Blady & Magnanimo, LLP, where her practice was devoted to representing employees and employers in employment cases. Prior thereto, Ms. Gombos worked at Landegger & Baron, LLP and Goldstein, Kennedy & Petito, where her practice was solely devoted to representing and advising employers in employment law matters.

Ms. Gombos is a member of the California and Washington State Bars and is licensed to practice before the courts of California; and the U.S. District Court for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California. Ms. Gombos is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Ms. Gombos is a 1996 graduate of California Western School of Law. She attended Loyola Marymount University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities with an emphasis in English Literature in 1992.
